# Google Analytics

> Forward MoEngage events and user attributes to Google Analytics 4 with Connector campaigns and the GA4 Measurement Protocol.

## Introduction

[Google Analytics](https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/) measures how users interact with your website and app, so you can analyze traffic, engagement, and conversions.

## MoEngage × Google Analytics

With the MoEngage and Google Analytics integration, you can forward events and user attributes tracked in MoEngage to Google Analytics 4. MoEngage sends the data with a Connector campaign that calls the [GA4 Measurement Protocol](https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/protocol/ga4), so you can analyze MoEngage activity alongside the rest of your Google Analytics data.

## Integration

<Info>
  **Prerequisites**

  * An **API secret** for your Google Analytics data stream. To create one, in Google Analytics, navigate to **Admin** > **Data Streams**, select your stream, and then click **Measurement Protocol** > **Create**.
  * The **Measurement ID** of your data stream, or the **Firebase App ID** if you use a Firebase app.
</Info>

To set up the Connector campaign that sends data to Google Analytics, refer to [Send Data to Google Analytics](/docs/user-guide/campaigns-and-channels/connectors/analyze/send-data-to-google-analytics).
