Context Hub
Context Hub is a central place to capture your brand, business, and communication identity once and reuse it across MoEngage workflows. With Context Hub:- Ambient extraction from past campaigns: Merlin AI runs in the background, every week or after 50 campaigns, to analyze your past campaign activity and surface brand information for your review.
- AI-powered web and file extraction: Chat with Merlin AI to extract context by pasting text, attaching documents such as brand guideline PDFs, or sharing your website URL.
- Brand categories: Context is organized into Visual system (logos, colors, fonts), Identity (brand story), Brand voice and tone, Formatting, and Others (such as regulatory disclaimers).
- Full control over what is saved: Nothing is added without your approval. Merlin AI presents its findings as New additions or Updates in a checkbox tree, so you select exactly which details to store.
- Use across MoEngage: An Applicability matrix shows how each entity is used across manual channels (Email, In-App, On-Site Messaging, and Landing Pages) and Merlin AI features such as Custom Agents, Flows Assist, and the Email agent.
All Campaigns Page Enhancements
The All Campaigns page now helps you find, personalize, and act on the campaigns you care about. This release adds:- Views: Save any combination of filters, columns, search term, and visibility as a reusable View. Mark a View as Private or Public (shared with one or more teams), pin, unpin, and reorder Views as tabs, and set a Default View that loads when you open the page. System Views (All, Active, Schedule, Drafts, and Under Review/Rejected) are always available. A workspace supports up to 100 Views.
- Dynamic Columns: Choose which data points appear in your table. Reorder columns by dragging them, show or hide columns, and search for a column by name. Column settings are saved per user and configurable for every View.
- Tab-specific default columns: Each system tab shows columns relevant to it. For example, the Schedule tab shows Scheduled on and Estimated audience count, while the Active tab shows performance and engagement metrics. To return to the unified layout, use Switch to classic view.
- Bulk Actions: Select up to 50 campaigns and run Tag, Download, Report, Archive, Pause, Stop, Resume, or Delete (Drafts only) in a single action. Eligibility is checked per campaign, and you see how many campaigns the action affects before you confirm. The actions available depend on the tab.
- Recent Searches: Click the search box to see your five most recent searches that returned results, and reapply one with a click.
- Faster page loads: Campaign data and stats data now load separately, which reduces page load time by up to 80% for workspaces with large volumes of campaign stats.
Custom Agents: Connectors and Image Generation
Custom Agents now integrate with your external tools, generate on-brand imagery, and coordinate across specialized sub-agents. With this feature, you can:- Connect to external apps: Read and execute actions mid-run in Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and Salesforce, securely scoped to individual user permissions.
- Create and publish visuals: Analyze past campaigns, generate new creatives using Context Hub brand guardrails, and publish shareable URLs in a single run.
- Orchestrate complex workflows: Delegate tasks from a coordinator agent to specialized sub-agents and consolidate the output into one unified response.
These capabilities are rolling out in phases. Contact your CSM for access.
Offering Migration
You can now migrate Offerings instead of rebuilding content, targeting, and scheduling by hand. With Offering Migration:- Cross-workspace migration: Move Offerings from one workspace to another.
- Environment migration: Migrate Offerings between the Test and Live environments of the same workspace, so you can validate in Test and promote to Live in one action.
- Imported status: Migrated Offerings land in Drafts with an Imported status, so you can identify, review, and activate them when ready.
- Upfront dependency checks: Missing elements such as segments, attributes, and templates are flagged before migration, so you can fix gaps before the Offering goes live.
Test a Recommendation
Test a Recommendation is now available for both Basic and Advanced recommendation models. Preview what a customer would see, adjust conditions, and catch issues before your campaign goes live. You can:- Test by a specific user: Search by Email ID, Mobile Number, User ID, or MoEngage ID and view that user’s personalized results.
- Test with random eligible users: Sample 10 qualifying users with one click.
- Test by item: Check which items pair with a specific product for Similar Items, Frequently Bought Together, and Frequently Viewed Together models.
- Adjust filters live: Toggle conditions on or off and see results update in real time.
- Detect dropped items: Spot catalog mismatches.
- Troubleshoot zero results: Find out why a recommendation returns no results.
HTML Editor for On-Site Messaging and Landing Pages
You can now upload HTML directly when you create landing pages and On-Site Messaging (OSM) campaigns. You can:- Add your own HTML and upload its assets.
- Upload a ZIP file that contains your HTML and assets.
- Preview the page or campaign.
- Publish when ready.
Business Events API (V5)
You can now fire business events and look up the business events in your workspace using the new Business Events API (V5). The V5 endpoints are served through the unified MoEngage gateway and return responses in a versioned{response_id, type, data} envelope.
Endpoints
- Trigger Business Event (V5): Fire a registered business event to enqueue its attached campaigns and flows.
- List Business Events: List all business events in the workspace, or look up a single one by name or ID. Returns campaign and trigger counts, and supports cursor-based pagination.
- Search Business Events (V5): List all business events, or look up several at once by names or IDs. Returns the same fields as List Business Events, and supports cursor-based pagination.
