Customer reviews play an important role in the methodology that G2 uses to position vendors in the Grid.

Products are ranked by customer Satisfaction and Market Presence.

The Satisfaction rating is affected by the following important metrics:

  • Customer satisfaction with product attributes based on user reviews
  • Popularity and statistical significance based on the number of reviews
  • Quality and age of reviews received

The Market Presence score is a combination of 15 metrics from G2’s reviews, publicly available information, and third-party sources—based on market share, vendor size, and social impact.
