I’m excited to share that MoEngage is named a Strong Performer in the just-published report - The Forrester Wave™: Mobile Engagement Automation, Q3 2020. Forrester defines Mobile Engagement Automation as technology that uses real-time and contextual insights to proactively engage with known users in the appropriate mobile moment across the customer lifecycle via a mobile device¹.
We are very proud that we are the youngest company to be included in this report. The Forrester report states: “MoEngage offers advanced automation and an ambitious roadmap”. In the last couple of years, MoEngage has evolved into an enterprise-grade product that can handle the scale, data security and access control requirements of some of the top brands such as Ally Financial, CIMB Bank, Samsung, McAfee, Mashreq Bank, Deutsche Telekom, Travelodge, Flipkart, Ola, Tokopedia and more.
For brands considering a customer engagement solution, Forrester recommends that they “Look for vendors that can factor in customers’ past engagement and behaviors to improve personalization in the form of featured products, message content, message format, and channel.” This is a powerful validation of MoEngage’s insights-led engagement solution for the customer-obsessed growth teams who like to deep dive into customer behavior data and then leverage the actionable insights to engage them across mobile, email and the web.
Forrester also specifically mentions that MoEngage’s “strength lies in its practical applications of advanced analytics. It’s proprietary engine, Sherpa, which analyzes behavioral data and test results for automated decisioning”. Further validating our decision to build one tool that consists of powerful customer analytics, predictive segmentation, and cross-channel engagement.
The report also highlights our Open Analytics solution “that can connect to any BI or SQL tool and is one of just two tools in this evaluation that is compatible with PMML“. Open Analytics, by MoEngage, allows consumer brands to visualize enriched campaign & behavioral data from MoEngage in their favorite BI tools like Tableau - without the need for expensive ETL infrastructure.
Our rapid growth is a direct result of our obsession with our customers. Forrester also recommends that brands should look “To understand what resonates with customers and supports their customer journey, seek a vendor with rigorous testing and reporting. Look at vendors’ ability to run multivariate tests on not just content, but also customer journeys.” I am pleased to let you know that we have made significant progress around this area.
